A careful review of the information you have
If you have been told that an immigration record, alert, or restriction may affect you, it can be difficult to know what the statement means or what to ask next. The word “blacklist” alone does not establish whether a particular official record exists, what it contains, or whether it applies to you. Immigration Services Nepal does not offer a government database search, blacklist check, or confirmation of a person’s immigration status.
This service is a private administrative review of information you lawfully hold. We can help arrange relevant identity and travel details in a clear timeline, review copies of documents for apparent inconsistencies, and help prepare factual questions for an authority you identify. The Tribhuvan International Airport Immigration Office publishes its phone and email contact details. Its contact page does not say whether it handles record questions, accepts a particular inquiry, or provides information about an individual.
What the service can cover
At your direction, we can review relevant passport and travel-document copies, visa or entry and exit records in your possession, notices or correspondence you received, and prior applications or reference numbers. We can note mismatched names, document numbers, spellings, or dates that may need clarification. We can also help you prepare a concise account of what happened and a list of questions, such as which office should handle your enquiry, what information it can consider, and whether it has a current procedure for your circumstances.
If you choose to contact an authority, we can help organize the inquiry and coordinate procedural follow-up you request. The authority controls whether it responds, what information it may disclose, whether it will review a concern, and any decision or next step. We cannot inspect internal records, identify the source or basis of an entry, secure disclosure, challenge a record on your behalf as legal counsel, or remove, correct, or clear anything. We do not promise reconsideration, travel permission, a visa, entry, or a particular outcome.
This page is about organizing documents and preparing an inquiry concerning a possible record. It is distinct from a review of the facts and procedure of a deportation matter or an assessment of a specific entry restriction. If you have received a formal notice, are subject to a deadline, have been detained, or face an imminent travel decision, contact the competent authority promptly. Consider speaking with an independent lawyer in Nepal if you need legal advice or representation. Immigration Services Nepal is a private consultancy and is not a government office or law firm.
Information to gather
There is no universal checklist for a possible immigration record enquiry, and the authority may require different information depending on the matter. For an initial private review, you may share only the records relevant to understanding your identity and timeline. These might include the passport or travel document used at the relevant time, any replacement passport, visas or permits, travel tickets or date records, and copies of notices, emails, receipts, or application references. If another person or organization told you about a possible record, note when and how you learned this and keep any written communication.
Do not guess at dates or describe an unconfirmed record as established fact. Mark uncertain details clearly. Keep original documents unchanged and provide copies for review unless an authority gives you different instructions. Share sensitive personal information through an agreed secure channel and only to the extent needed for the review. Before submitting documents to any office, confirm its current instructions and accepted method directly with that office.
How the review works
1. Describe the concern
Tell us what you were told, when it arose, and whether you have a written notice, upcoming travel, or other time-sensitive issue. We will clarify whether an administrative document review is suitable.
2. Organize available records
You provide relevant copies and a basic timeline. We arrange the information you provide and flag apparent gaps or inconsistencies for you to clarify. This is not an official search or verification.
3. Prepare an inquiry
If appropriate, we help draft clear, factual questions for the competent authority. You review and approve the information before it is shared. We do not invent facts or state that an unconfirmed record exists.
4. Coordinate procedural follow-up
If requested, we can help organize follow-up based on the authority’s published contact details or instructions. Any request for information, review, or action is subject to the authority’s own process and response.
5. Consider the next step
We help you organize any response you receive and identify procedural questions to confirm. If the matter requires legal advice, a formal challenge, urgent travel guidance, or representation, seek help from an independent qualified lawyer or contact the authority directly.

Frequently asked questions
Can you check whether my name is on a blacklist?
No. We cannot search or access government databases or confirm whether a record or restriction exists. We can help organize your documents and prepare an inquiry for the competent authority.
Can you tell me why I may have been flagged?
We cannot see internal records or determine a reason from a rumor, travel event, or document. If you have an official communication, we can help summarize it and prepare questions about what it says. Any explanation or disclosure is for the authority to provide.
Can you get an entry removed or corrected?
No. We have no authority to alter government records or decide whether a record should be changed. We can help you prepare a factual request using information you provide, but the authority decides whether it will consider or act on that request.
Will an inquiry guarantee an answer or allow me to travel?
No. We cannot guarantee disclosure, a response, reconsideration, visa issuance, entry, or clearance to travel. Confirm your individual position and any current instructions directly with the competent authority before making travel plans.
What should I send for an initial review?
Start with relevant identity documents, available travel dates, and any notice or correspondence connected with the concern. We will explain what may help us understand the timeline. This is not an official document checklist, and the authority determines what it requires.
Do you provide legal representation?
No. We provide private administrative assistance, not legal advice or representation. If you need legal guidance, must respond to a formal proceeding, or face an urgent restriction, consult an independent lawyer and contact the competent authority.
