Immigration Services Nepal offers a recurring administrative coordination service for an individual expatriate or assignee who wants help keeping immigration-related information organized. The retainer can cover a case calendar, document-readiness check-ins, reminders based on dates supplied by you or your sponsor, published-process guidance, and preparation of questions when circumstances change.

This is a private administrative service. Immigration Services Nepal is not a government authority, law firm, recruiter, or employer of record. We do not provide legal, tax, employment, or relocation advice; determine your obligations; or promise a recommendation, permit, visa, renewal, appointment, approval, or outcome. The relevant authority decides applications and official requirements. Your employer, sponsor, or recommending body remains responsible for its own role and decisions.

What individual support can include

The recurring scope is agreed separately and can be limited to administrative tasks such as:

  • Keeping a case calendar with relevant dates you or your sponsor provide, and sending agreed reminders to review upcoming items.
  • Checking in on document readiness by noting what information has been collected, what is outstanding, and what may need clarification against published process information.
  • Summarizing relevant public instructions and helping you prepare questions for the responsible authority, employer, sponsor, or qualified adviser.
  • Helping you organize renewal or appointment planning by tracking known dates and follow-ups. A reminder is not an official deadline assessment, confirmation that a renewal is available, or an appointment guarantee.
  • Preparing a concise change-of-circumstance question list when you report a change, so you can ask the responsible party what process applies.

This service supports you as an individual. It is distinct from the corporate umbrella coordination retainer, which organizes immigration administration across an organization, and from employer-focused compliance or work-permit coordination. Your employer or sponsor's work, filings, and responsibilities are not included by default in your individual retainer.

Process information and individual cases

The Department of Industry describes a route in which expatriate personnel working in industries may receive a non-tourist visa on recommendation, and describes a work permit for such personnel with annual renewal. Its published information also outlines a process involving Department of Industry and Department of Labour recommendations. These descriptions concern particular industrial employment contexts; they are not a universal route or checklist for every foreign national in Nepal. The applicable process depends on the person's circumstances and current official instructions.

Our role is to help keep your own administrative record organized and prepare questions. We do not assess whether you qualify for a category, make a recommendation, represent that a particular document list applies, contact an authority as a privileged liaison, or decide what your employer or sponsor must do. Confirm current requirements, responsibilities, and filing instructions with the authority or sponsor responsible for your case. Seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional for legal, tax, employment, or relocation questions.

How the retainer works

1. Describe the coordination need

Share a general outline of your situation, the administrative tasks you want help tracking, and whether an employer or sponsor is involved. Do not send sensitive identity documents until a suitable information-sharing method and scope have been agreed.

2. Agree the recurring scope

You and Immigration Services Nepal agree directly which check-ins, calendar items, document follow-ups, and process-information support are included. Retainer terms are separate; this page does not set a price, standard package, response time, service-level commitment, or unlimited scope.

3. Set up your working record

Within the agreed scope, we organize information you choose to provide, record known dates, and note document follow-ups. You remain responsible for checking the accuracy and completeness of the information and for official submissions assigned to you or another responsible party.

4. Coordinate check-ins and reminders

We review the agreed open items, note what has been received or remains to be followed up, and remind you about recorded dates according to the agreed arrangement. Reminders help with administration; they do not replace current instructions from an authority or guarantee that a step can be completed.

5. Prepare questions when things change

If you report a change in circumstances, we can help frame questions for the relevant authority, employer, sponsor, or qualified adviser. The responsible party determines whether the change affects any requirement or process and what action, if any, is needed.

Discuss individual ongoing support

When you get in touch, describe the type of administrative coordination you need and whether an employer or sponsor is involved. We can discuss a suitable bounded scope and information-sharing approach. Contact Immigration Services Nepal to start the conversation.

Eligibility

  • For an individual expatriate or assignee seeking ongoing administrative coordination related to an immigration matter in Nepal.
  • The individual must agree the recurring administrative scope and provide or identify the information and relevant contacts needed for that scope.

Requirements

  • Agree the retainer scope and an appropriate information-sharing method before sharing sensitive documents.
  • Review the accuracy of information provided and confirm current requirements and official instructions with the responsible authority or sponsor.
  • Handle official submissions and decisions assigned to you, your employer, sponsor, recommending body, or authority.

Process

  1. 1

    Describe your coordination needs

Outline the administrative matters, dates, and contacts you would like to keep organized, without sending sensitive documents before an information-sharing method is agreed.

  2. 2

    Agree the individual retainer scope

Define the recurring check-ins, calendar reminders, document follow-ups, and published-process guidance directly with Immigration Services Nepal; commercial terms are separate.

  3. 3

    Set up your case record

Organize information and dates you choose to provide, noting that you remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your information.

  4. 4

    Review readiness and follow-ups

Check what has been collected or remains outstanding within the agreed scope, and prepare questions when an item needs confirmation.

  5. 5

Prepare for changes and next steps

Frame questions for the relevant authority, employer, sponsor, or qualified adviser when circumstances change; the responsible parties decide what process applies.

Frequently asked questions

What does the expatriate retainer cover?

It is a recurring, individually scoped administrative service. Agreed tasks may include a case calendar, document-readiness check-ins, reminders based on supplied dates, published-process guidance, and preparing questions about a reported change in circumstances.

Is this the same as a corporate immigration retainer?

No. This page covers bounded ongoing support for one expatriate or assignee. The corporate umbrella retainer organizes immigration administration across an organization; employer-focused compliance and work-permit coordination are separate scopes.

Can you tell me which visa or permit I qualify for?

We can help you review published process information and prepare questions. We do not determine eligibility or obligations. The responsible authority decides which requirements and process apply to your case.

Will reminders guarantee that I renew on time or receive an appointment?

No. Calendar reminders are based on information and dates supplied for coordination. They are not an official deadline assessment, appointment booking, confirmation that renewal is available, or guarantee of an outcome.

What happens if my circumstances change?

Within the agreed scope, we can help prepare questions for the relevant authority, employer, sponsor, or qualified adviser. Those responsible parties determine whether the change affects a requirement or process and what action is needed.

Does the service provide legal or tax advice, or include a fixed price?

No. It is private administrative coordination, not legal, tax, employment, or relocation advice. Retainer terms and any commercial terms are agreed separately; this page does not state a price, response time, or unlimited coverage.

General information only. Requirements depend on the facts of each case and can change, so confirm the current position before filing.
